About

Hi, I’m Jacob. I’m a graphic designer and art director based in Utah. I’ve been designing professionally for around 15 years, working on everything from brand identities and websites to public outreach, wayfinding, campaigns, and the occasional weird little illustration. A lot of my recent work has crossed over into urban planning and community projects, which means I’ve gotten pretty good at taking complicated ideas and making them easier—and hopefully more interesting—to understand. I still like making logos, though.

Background:

I studied graphic design at Utah Valley University and have spent most of my career working as a designer and art director at Brooks Advertising, alongside freelance work for businesses, nonprofits, cities, and other organizations.

More recently, I served as Communications Director for Bike Utah, working on projects across the state involving active transportation, education, advocacy, and public engagement.
